We are very proud of our team in Installing the TRUMPF TruBend 1320 (B42) . In early spring, two highly experienced service specialists — Ervīns and Giedrius — joined forces to carry out a demanding installation of a TruBend 1320 (B42) press brake. Each of them brought over 20 years of professional expertise, making this project a great example of cross‑border cooperation between Latvia and Lithuania, as well as a showcase of teamwork within VENTEN’s service department. 💪 It looked like a standard delivery on paper turned into a proper field day. 💡 The machine, weighing approximately 20,000 kg, arrived on a trailer that was very low. It had rained heavily, the yard became slippery and unstable. Maneuvering the heavy truck close enough to the building required considerable effort and precision. The tight space that the logistics team had to work with. The next challenge was the lift itself. The crane operator did not have the special lifting straps at first, needed for such a heavy machine. Fortunately, the VENTEN service team had a guess that such a situation might arise and had already discussed multiple alternative solutions in advance. 🤝 Thanks to their experience and technical creativity, Ervīns and Giedrius managed to prepare a safe lifting method, and the TruBend 1320 was successfully lifted out of the trailer — a key milestone in the whole operation. Once the machine was on the ground, the next mission was to bring it inside the production facility. Here, credit goes to the clientś team had prepared the necessary access path in advance. Their readiness was the result of an earlier visit from VENTEN in-house service specialist Viktors, who provided guidance to ensure everything would be ready on time. 🏭 With joint effort, technical skills, and plenty of teamwork, the 20‑ton machine was carefully moved into its designated position. Despite all the unexpecteances, Venten’s specialits Ervīns and Giedrius stayed committed to the client’s deadline. 👏 Thank you Aivars for leading the team and greetings to Andrejs for the successful sale. 💡 The TRUMPF TruBend 1320 is built for factory where the main challenge is keeping production predictable. *320 tons / 4 m → enough capacity to avoid splitting jobs across multiple setups *Stable repeatability → less rework, fewer quality issues in series production *Reliable hydraulics and frame → machine behaves the same on Monday morning and Friday evening *Straightforward control → operators reach working speed quickly, less dependency on one “key guy” *Fast setup → shorter changeover times, more actual production hours What it solves in practice: *Unstable quality between batches → consistent bending results *Too much time lost on setups → faster changeovers *Operator dependency → easier to standardize work *Unexpected downtime → proven, robust platform
