Another coordinate measuring machine has now been installed in the education sector – the Mitutoyo MiSTAR 555! The MiSTAR 555 is designed to operate beyond traditional metrology lab conditions. It maintains its accuracy and reliability even in workshop environments, where temperature fluctuations and other environmental factors are part of everyday operations. ❗ We strongly believe in the importance of vocational education – a topic that has also gained significant attention in the media recently. We fully support the principle that educational institutions should be equipped with state-of-the-art technology. We should not be teaching yesterday’s standards – we must be preparing for tomorrow. The more advanced the learning equipment, the smoother the transition for young specialists from theory to practice, and from the classroom to the production floor. When students train on the same or comparable level of equipment used in real industry, both learners and companies benefit. Manufacturing remains one of the key pillars of the Estonian economy. The competitiveness of this sector depends largely on skilled specialists, whose journey begins in institutions like Ida-Viru Kutsehariduskeskus. We are very pleased that the next generation of professionals can work with modern technology during their studies and be better prepared for the challenges of tomorrow’s industry. 👏 🖇️ PS: Good news – a special campaign on Mitutoyo products has just started. Link in the comments. A good colleague Timo Vilumets is an expert in Mitutoyo solutions :). Feel free to reach out.
