Venionaire Capital at the InvestCEC Final Event in Brussels ♻️🇪🇺 This week, Venionaire Capital joined partners and policymakers at the European Parliament in Brussels for the final event of the InvestCEC project, held as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities. Over the past three years, InvestCEC has built a replicable model to drive the implementation of circular economy projects across Europe, supporting entrepreneurs, improving investment readiness, and shaping policy recommendations. As a consortium partner, Venionaire Capital contributed its expertise in venture capital, helping to develop the model to strengthen public-private partnerships through an investment program. Following the project’s conclusion, this program will continue in collaboration with key partners: Stadtwerke Klagenfurt AG, Una Terra Early Growth Fund, and Universe Partners, with the aim of practically closing circular supply chain loops. At the event, our project lead Paul Stern presented the key learnings from the investment program, insights into the replicability of the model, the launch of the Venture Partnership Model, and a look ahead to its practical implementation for a more circular future. The event gathered key voices from across Europe, including Davide Delaiti and Lucie Blondel, who shared a visionary outlook on the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI). It concluded with a keynote from MEP Sandro Gozi and a dynamic panel moderated by Andrea Accorigi (C3), featuring: René W. Cerne (City of Klagenfurt), Kathrina Rieger (Concular) and Maya Poncelet (Una Terra Early Growth Fund) This powerful discussion highlighted the importance of collaboration between public institutions and private investors.
