TR Lisans bitirme tez öğrencilerimle birlikte yürüttüğümüz iki farklı çalışmanın SCI kapsamında yer alan Acta Geophysica ve Atmosphere dergilerinde bu ay içerisinde yayımlandığı haberini aldık. İlk çalışmamız, Atmosphere dergisinde yayımlanan “Trend Analysis of Heat Waves and Cold Spells in Major Turkish Cities Under Climate Change” başlıklı makale olup, lisans bitirme tez öğrencim Ebrar Öztürk’ün lisans tezinden türetilmiştir. Çalışmada, Türkiye’nin üç büyük şehrinde sıcak hava dalgaları ve soğuk hava ataklarının zamansal dağılımı kapsamlı bir şekilde analiz edilmiştir. https://lnkd.in/d7i7UZYw İkinci çalışmamız ise Acta Geophysica dergisinde yayımlanan “Characterization of Convective Weather and Atmospheric Environments over Turkish Airports” başlıklı makaledir. Bu çalışmada, lisans bitirme tez öğrencim Mustafa Yasin Erdoğan ile birlikte Türkiye’deki havalimanları üzerindeki konvektif meteorolojik süreçleri ve bunların atmosferik ortamlarını detaylı olarak incelemiş bulunmaktayız. https://lnkd.in/dBXNz_sm Her iki çalışmada da emeği geçen tüm ortak yazarlara (Yiğitalp KARA, Gökay Bayram, Caner Temiz, Anthony Lupo) değerli katkıları için teşekkür ederim. EN We have received the news that two different studies we conducted together with my undergraduate thesis students have been published this month in the SCI-indexed journals Acta Geophysica and Atmosphere. Our first study is the article titled “Trend Analysis of Heat Waves and Cold Spells in Major Turkish Cities Under Climate Change,” published in the journal Atmosphere, and it was derived from the undergraduate thesis of my student, Ebrar Öztürk. In this study, the temporal distribution of heat waves and cold spells in three major cities of Türkiye was comprehensively analyzed. https://lnkd.in/d7i7UZYw Our second study is the article titled “Characterization of Convective Weather and Atmospheric Environments over Turkish Airports,” published in the journal Acta Geophysica.
