Starting next year, this duty will increase to 50% for flax originating from Russia and Belarus. Meanwhile, Canada’s flax production is expected to remain modest, not exceeding 230 thousand tons. By comparison, annual flaxseed imports in the EU amount to approximately 600 thousand tons. πŸ’‘
