MSci Physics @ UCL
I’m extremely glad to share that I have graduated from UCL with an MSci in Physics, achieving First Class Honours! Over the past four years, I have had the privilege of exploring complex physical concepts and vast scales with mathematical rigour, from quantum mechanics to particle physics, quantum field theory, and high-performance computing. A highlight was my final-year MSci dissertation in atomically engineered silicon-based systems with the London Centre for Nanotechnology, where I witnessed how condensed matter theory can be applied to real systems at the smallest scales. Outside the lecture theatre, I served as Executive Director for the UCL Hindu Society, helping organise large-scale cultural events, showcases, and community initiatives. I will forever be grateful for the variety of creatively inclined and community-driven people I have met, and for the chance to give back to a community that has given so much to me. I was also the Head of Marketing during the inaugural year of the UCL Quantum Society, helping grow visibility and support the society’s early momentum (pun intended). It was amazing meeting experts at the forefront of quantum technologies while helping build the society from the ground up. Beyond university, I had the opportunity to work on a live Gas Trading desk alongside my MSci studies, which taught me a lot about pressure, discipline, and clear thinking in real time. Most importantly, I leave UCL incredibly grateful for the fantastic, family-like friendships I have formed along the way. Thank you so much to my family, friends, UCL, the Department of Physics and Astronomy, and my supervisors for being such an integral part of the journey! Onwards and upwards! ॐ
