Nordlicht is now taking shape at sea With the successful installation of the first monopile for Nordlicht I, offshore construction of Germany’s largest offshore wind park has officially begun.   “Nordlicht is now becoming visible at sea - a meaningful step forward for the energy transition and a proud moment for us and our partners in the supply chain,” says Cyril Moss, Project Director Nordlicht at Vattenfall.  Installed by our partner DEME Group, this milestone marks the transition from planning to execution.
