Varsity Tutors leaders were honored to join community leaders and partners at the Standing Ovation Awards, the DC Public Education Fund’s annual celebration of outstanding educators and school communities in DC Public Schools. Standing Ovation brings together business leaders, philanthropists, civic partners, and education advocates to elevate and celebrate excellence across the district, spotlighting teachers, school leaders, staff, and entire school communities who are helping every student feel loved, challenged, and prepared to thrive. As a vendor for District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), we value the opportunity not just to support learning solutions, but to connect directly with district leadership and school partners, including DCPS Chancellor Dr. Lewis Ferebee and Jim Kline, Executive Director of the DC Public Education Fund, to better understand how educators identify and implement the tools that most impact student success. Being part of this night of celebration reminded us that real educational impact happens in classrooms and communities every day, and that meaningful partnerships between schools and solution providers like Varsity Tutors are critical to expanding access to personalized support and elevating outcomes for all students.
