Marketing & Communications | Life + Executive Coach | Both are me.

🇫🇷 Wrapping up an incredible week in Paris with NYU SPS Integrated Marketing & Communications before we head to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. So much to recap. 🖤 CHANEL gave us a look inside the house—not just the business structure, but their recruitment, employee retention, and professional development programs. Thank you Pauline Beaussart and Marguerite de Grandmaison for showing us how much intention goes into building the people behind the brand, not just the brand itself. 💡 David Klingbeil gave us what I can only describe as a TED Talk on luxury marketing. I walked out with a genuinely new framework for understanding the industry—one I wrote about in my blog post for the NYU SPS Integrated Marketing & Communications blog (link below). 🏛️ Took some personal time at the Musée de Cluny - musée national du Moyen Âge, surrounded by Middle Ages artwork. There's a specific feeling that comes from standing in front of art that's survived centuries that is just hard to describe. 📊 Jonathan Siboni walked us through Luxurynsight, and it was fascinating to see how data and analytics actually drive decision-making in an industry that markets itself on instinct and craft. 💎 Visited a high-end jewelry house where my classmates — ncluding my IMA board colleagues Regina Wang and Ashley Gao, and my dear friends Briana A. and Sterling Throckmorton — presented their campaign work to the JOVADI team. So proud to watch them in their element. 🚀 VivaTech, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, could not have come at a more relevant moment for me personally—let's just say the timing of everything I learned about AI, brand trust, and agentic commerce this week feels like more than coincidence. More on that soon, too. 🌸 And the highlight of highlights: dsm-firmenich. We pitched an original perfume concept, and their nose brought it to life—developing two scents designed to be layered together. Watching a concept go from a deck to something you can actually smell, built by someone who does this for a living? Unreal. They absolutely delivered. Thank you, Jihane AKIKI GARCIA, Jeanne Hiret, Olga WOJCIK, Julicia Gherbaoui, and Caroline Carnez! Beyond grateful for this week. Onward to Cannes.
