Hello Colleagues, Addressing the prompt: Identify one (1) strategy not mentioned in Torres’ Leaky Bucket article that can assist leaders in recruiting and/or retaining teachers and why you think this strategy would be effective. I would introduce a mentorship program for new teachers. This can be an effective strategy for both recruiting and retaining staff. School administrators typically attend job fairs, so having a designated team of mentors present can provide valuable support to candidates during the interview process. Once hired, these new educators will have a familiar face, in addition to the administration, as they embark on their teaching careers. This mentorship will offer a resource for new staff to seek professional or personal guidance (within appropriate boundaries), ultimately helping to boost their confidence and enhance their chances of success. #GSULead
