From keyframes to physical motion — our end-to-end workflow in action. In this video, our bimanual robot hands reproduce a motion that started as a hand-authored animation in Blender. No teleoperation, no manual trajectory tuning on hardware. The full pipeline: 1️⃣ Motion design in Blender — we author the target movement as an animation, giving us full creative and ergonomic control over the gesture. 2️⃣ Reinforcement Learning — we train a policy to imitate that reference motion in simulation, learning a robust controller that handles the real dynamics rather than just replaying angles. 3️⃣ Deployment — the trained policy transfers to the physical robot, executing the motion reliably on hardware. Why it matters: this lets us go from an intuitive, artist-friendly motion concept to a deployable robot behavior — fast, repeatable, and without hand-coding control on the real system. It's a workflow we've built at Valta Engineering in collaboration with VDI-Labs to make embodied robotics development faster and more accessible.
