On World Animal Day, The Vegetarian Butcher launched “Vleesch (Meat) - a plant-based ode to meat classics x 100”! We offered a cookbook to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate and the Ministry of Agriculture, following up on this news article about "staying away from the term "less meat": https://lnkd.in/gpA3G4g6. We found some common ground, we also don't like the advice people to eat less meat. Let's go for more meat, plant-based that is. We hope our gesture can inspire the Ministries to add more plant-based meat to the agenda. We are proud of this first cookbook in which plant-based meat is the true star player. And we feel humbled by the contribution of outstanding chefs and pioneers of the Food Revolution, who shared their favorite recipe for this book. A big thanks to Jonnie and Thérèse Boer, André Kuipers, Paul Bom, Pascal Jalhay, Niven Kunz, Samuel Levie, Erik van Loo, Roepa Sonai, John Warrington, Nadia Zerouali and of course founder of The Vegetarian Butcher Jaap Korteweg. Together we’ve created a must-have for the meat lover who doesn't want to sacrifice! #foodrevolution #thevegetarianbutcher #vleeschhetkookboek Special shout out to the amazing team working on this book Hugo Hengeveld Alexandra Knoef Esther Slegtenhorst - van Spronsen Remko Kraaijeveld José van Mil Fleur van Mil Studio Jan Willem van Riel / De Stijlbrouwerij Miriam Brunsveld Sandra Van Mook Niqué van den Tillaart Nienke Faber Amadea Boneschansker 🏠 Irolt Luinenburg Hugo Verkuil Karlijn Ris Amber Haank Tim van Aerschot Fleur Ondersteijn Fleur van Bavel
