Last week was my graduation ceremony and the only thing I can think is: wow, time really does fly. Two years ago, I made the scary (and exciting) decision to leave what I still consider a dream job at a dream company, pack my life into what felt like 10 suitcases and move literally to the other side of the world to study my dream master’s degree. It turned out to be one of the most challenging (and rewarding) experiences I’ve ever lived. I’m beyond grateful for the people I met along the way, my colleagues and friends who made the journey brighter, and my boyfriend and family who supported me through every single step. Finding a community at Unimelb through LASA (Latin American Student Association) and MBS Student Association was a game-changer for me. It taught me the real value of belonging and the beautiful things that happen when you build a community. Graduating from one of the top universities in the world once felt impossible to a past version of me… and now it’s my reality. I feel proud to be a University of Melbourne graduate and even more excited for the challenges ahead. 💙 #Graduation #MastersDegree #UniMelb
