"They were fighting for their very existence. I call them heroes," says Rene Hynek. A few years ago, the Valeo Ben Arous site burned to the ground and decades of hard work burned away with it. For many, Ben Arous was not just a workplace. It was a place our colleagues made friends, grew professionally and personally. Some even found love. But they would not take this setback lying down. Now the true resilience of Valeo Tunisia was on display for all to see. They were supported by more than 200 people from across the world who made it on ground to support them. The results are clear: listen to the video to learn how they made us all and themselves proud. Today, Valeo celebrates its 40th anniversary in Tunisia, and we've never been happier.
