It was a great pleasure to be part of the Strategic Swiss Bioimaging Community Roundtable in Bern, organized and led by Virginie Uhlmann from University of Zurich. The meeting brought together representatives from Swiss universities and research infrastructures to explore the future of the Swiss bioimaging ecosystem. The discussions highlighted shared challenges and provided a valuable opportunity to collectively map needs and begin articulating a common vision for the community. A sincere thank you to all participants for their energy, insights, and solution-oriented contributions to the discussions: Felix Meyenhofer, Boris Egger, Urs Ziegler Arne Seitz, Christel Genoud, Jean-Yves Chatton, Oliver Biehlmaier, Anne Spang, Gabor Csucs, Michelle Susanne Frei, Diego Morone, Andrea Raimondi, Christoph Bauer, Marie Barberon, Ruth Lyck, Guillaume Witz, Monique Zahn, Sandra Hofmann, Valentina Marcelli, John Eriksson, Amaranta Amador Bernal, Johanna Bischof, and Gilles Monney. We are grateful to swissuniversities for supporting this meeting through the BioFAIR project. It was inspiring to see such a motivated community come together to shape a coordinated, collaborative, and future-ready Swiss bioimaging ecosystem. #Bioimaging #SwissScience #ResearchInfrastructure #OpenScience #Euro-BioImaging #swissuniversities #BioVisionCenter #University of Zurich #SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics #Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg #University of Geneva #EPFL #University of Lausanne - UNIL #University of Basel #ETH Zürich #USI Università della Svizzera italiana #University of Bern #SCNAT - Swiss Academy of Sciences
