Innovation thrives when people come together with curiosity and the courage to try something new.💡🤝 At the 7th VAHLE Innovation Council 2026, hosted at the innoclub in Dortmund, colleagues from our Headoffice and from our development centers in Kamen and Kufstein came together to discuss key technology trends such as industrial wireless communication with 5G/6G and DECT NR+. Our conversations focused also on two essential questions: how can we validate new ideas faster, and how can we collaborate more effectively with startups?   Instead of long theory cycles, we emphasized real-world testing, quick feedback, and learning directly from industrial applications. The startup speed-dating sessions during the innoclub’s innobreaking clearly demonstrated how much value can be created in a short time when curiosity, openness, and practical validation come together.   A special thank you to our internal Council members Achim Dries, Michael Eckle, Thomas Barthel, Thomas Streicher, Philip Tembaak, Marc Detweiler, Johannes Posch, as well as our external members James Gross (KTH Stockholm), Benjamin Massow (MCI Innsbruck), Prof. Dr. Holger Borcherding (FH Ostwestfalen-Lippe), and Roland Haas (Haas Innovation Zürich), for enriching our technology projects with their perspectives and experience.   Thank you to the innoclub for providing such an open and inspiring space for innovation.
