As Pride Month comes to a close, we are reflecting on an inspiring week of global collaboration at the University of Zurich. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ 🌎🌍🌏 Last week, UZH hosted the kick-off meeting of the Global LGBTIQ+ Health Project, bringing together around 80 researchers and LGBTIQ+ experts from across the world. 🔄 Over three and a half days, participants exchanged knowledge, built new partnerships and co-created the vision for a truly global initiative, led by UZH researcher and SNSF professor Tabea Hässler. Together, they laid the foundations for an international survey, scientific publications, reports and outreach activities aimed at advancing LGBTIQ+ health research worldwide. 💡 The workshop marked the beginning of a long-term global collaboration built on shared expertise, co-creation and a common commitment to generating knowledge that can help improve health and well-being for LGBTIQ+ communities around the world. 🎥 Take a look at some of the highlights from the workshop in the video!
