As Pride Month comes to a close, we are reflecting on an inspiring week of global collaboration at the University of Zurich. π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ πππ Last week, UZH hosted the kick-off meeting of the Global LGBTIQ+ Health Project, bringing together around 80 researchers and LGBTIQ+ experts from across the world. π Over three and a half days, participants exchanged knowledge, built new partnerships and co-created the vision for a truly global initiative, led by UZH researcher and SNSF professor Tabea HΓ€ssler. Together, they laid the foundations for an international survey, scientific publications, reports and outreach activities aimed at advancing LGBTIQ+ health research worldwide. π‘ The workshop marked the beginning of a long-term global collaboration built on shared expertise, co-creation and a common commitment to generating knowledge that can help improve health and well-being for LGBTIQ+ communities around the world. π₯ Take a look at some of the highlights from the workshop in the video!
