The first funding call of the new Leading House Asia Pacific mandate attracted more than 200 proposals from across the Swiss higher education sector. 🤝 Forty interdisciplinary projects will now receive support, including 33 multilateral initiatives connecting Switzerland with partners in more than two Asia-Pacific countries. 🌏 The UZH-led projects highlight the breadth and value of this approach. Researchers are building international networks to address challenges ranging from credible net-zero communication and machine learning to travel medicine, digital mental health, culturally grounded AI and mangrove restoration. Hosted by UZH since 2025, the Leading House Asia Pacific supports researchers in testing new ideas, connecting disciplines and developing long-term partnerships across East Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. 👉 Discover some of the funded projects and their partners: https://lnkd.in/egpr6VQn Features projects are led by: Darío Negueruela del Castillo, Andrea Farnham, Leon Hauser, Clare Killikelly, Nadine Strauß, Guido Wiesenberg, Yucheng Yang #UZH | Leading House Asia Pacific, University of Zurich (UZH), Tina Schilbach
