Recognition at the highest level: Ernst Fehr joins one of the world’s most prestigious scientific communities. 🏛️ Ernst Fehr, Professor of Economics and Director of the UBS Center for Economics in Society at UZH, has been elected as an international member of the National Academy of Sciences. This honor highlights decades of groundbreaking research, especially in the field of behavioral economics. 🌍 The election places Fehr alongside an exceptional group of economists such as Robert Shiller, Janet Yellen, Elhanan Helpman and Bengt Holmstrom. 👏 At UZH, he joins physicist Laura Baudis, a member since 2025, and mathematician Artur Ávila, elected in 2019.
