Student Spotlight: Jordan Moore | Wyoming WWAMI | Powell, Wyoming "I’m looking forward to learning more about what field of medicine I’m interested in," says Jordan Moore. "I’m still undecided, so any chance to really get out and get hands-on experience is one step closer to figuring that out." Jordan's path to medicine has been deeply shaped by his family. His sister, who has Down syndrome, inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to caring for others. "She has taught me so much about compassion for people who are different, and I want to help make life better for people with disabilities." While he's still exploring specialties, Jordan is confident the right path will reveal itself. "I am currently undecided on a specialty, but I know it'll all work out when the time is right." One of the things Jordan values most about the TRUST program is its continuity and connection to community. "I love the longitudinal nature of the TRUST program, especially with a family. It's nice to have my home base be my hometown, where my wife and I met, and learn in that familiar environment." Looking ahead, Jordan hopes to return to Wyoming to care for the community that helped shape him. "I would love to come back to the Big Horn Basin area to practice someday, but I'm sure wherever I end up will be the right place." When he's not studying medicine, Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife and their one-year-old son. He also has a creative hobby: collecting and customizing realistic 1:12-scale action figures, which he shares on Instagram and TikTok.
