Montana WWAMI student Megan Ogle recently presented her research on kratom at the Montana Addiction Medicine & Pain Conference in Butte. A third-year medical student and Miles City TRUST Scholar, Ogle explored the growing use of kratom, its potential health risks, and the policy challenges surrounding regulation and public education. Drawing from both personal experience and clinical training, Ogle emphasized the importance of equipping healthcare professionals, policymakers, and communities with evidence-based information to support informed decision-making and protect public health. https://bit.ly/4vz0rDC
