We are pleased to welcome Ana Mendigutxia Balil to the UWA Public Policy Institute as Senior Project Coordinator and Program Manager for Pathways to Politics for Women UWA. Ana is a project manager and communications professional with a background in higher education, education policy, and strategic communications. Her experience spans universities, international organisations, and the public sector, including The University of Western Australia, The UWA Institute of Agriculture and UNESCO IESALC, where she has focused on connecting research to policy and public engagement. We look forward to Ana’s contribution to PPI’s work on academic-policy research, engagement and translation, as well as to supporting the next generation of women leaders through Pathways to Politics for Women.
