This quarter we are proud to recognize Kristene Rutherford, MBAHM with our STAR Award (Staff Tribute and Recognition)! Kristene is the Associate Director of Finance at the Information School, and her outstanding commitment to collaboration, thoughtful problem-solving, and leadership make her a valued member of the iSchool community. She has advanced operational improvements that strengthened both the day-to-day experience of staff and the long-term effectiveness of iSchool processes, particularly over the past year. Her work reflects a collaborative and people-centered approach — one grounded in listening carefully, developing solutions that balance short-term needs with broader goals, and increasing transparency and responsiveness. Colleagues consistently note Kristene’s patience, strategic thinking, and genuine commitment to building and implementing positive solutions.
