It’s an exciting time for soccer fans! ⚽️ As Seattle hosts the World Cup this summer, we're excited that the UW is participating in the SEA Beacon program, a statewide initiative to support local communities, including our students. Here, Dubs the Husky mascot plays #thebeautifulgame and highlights the UW Selfless Station, a welcoming landmark designed to shine a spotlight on community impact during the games. Selfless Stations are large‑scale installations at key stops along Seattle's Unity Loop, serving as gathering points and photo opportunities that support the local organizations strengthening our communities. At the UW Selfless Station, visitors can support students with a donation to the #HuskyPromise, a grant and scholarship program covering tuition and fees for Washington students.
