Originally from Beijing, China, HCDE undergraduate student Selena Liu came to the UW seeking the freedom to explore different fields before choosing a path. Since arriving at UW, she has woven together interests in design, global health, mental health research, entrepreneurship, dance, and the arts, creating an undergraduate experience that reflects the interdisciplinary nature of Human Centered Design & Engineering.
