Let's shape. Let's build. This is what moves Europe forward. 💥 Last Thursday, we were at Forum UnternehmerTUM 2026 – and it was one of those days that reminds you exactly why this work matters. The theme: Shaping Our Future. The tone: no sugarcoating. Prof. Dr. Helmut Schoenenberger opened with a Draghi-reference that set the stakes immediately – European competitiveness isn't a background concern anymore, it's the defining challenge of this decade. Julia Jaekel made the case for state modernization with equal clarity: defense, education, trust in democratic institutions – not three separate agendas, but one. Dorothee Bär reframed the entire space debate: every industry is being reshaped by space. 🚀 Energy. Infrastructure. Climate. The old sector boundaries are dissolving faster than most strategies can keep up with. And Bavarian State Minister Markus Blume had a simple but powerful observation: UnternehmerTUM is a place full of people who simply do. Who turn urgency into action – across industries, generations, and borders. One of the most memorable moments of the day: Susanne Klatten receiving the Pro Meritis award – a recognition for decades of doing what's right, quietly and without waiting for permission. Her message: connect and empower. ✨ UVC Partners was well represented on stage: Benjamin Erhart joined Francesco Sciortino, Co-Founder & CEO of our portfolio company Proxima Fusion, in a conversation on European fusion energy – in front of 600 of Europe's most ambitious founders, investors, and decision-makers. 🔋 Amanda Birkenholz brought her perspective to the GovTech panel – a sharp discussion on what it takes to rebuild state capacity through technology.
