More than 70 leaders from across University of Texas System came together this week in Dallas for the Vizient / UT Health Leadership Summit to align around a shared purpose: advancing excellence, expanding access to care, and strengthening how the UT System serves communities across Texas.   Under the leadership of David Lakey, M.D. and Zain Kazmi, teams spanning Nursing, Pharmacy, Quality, Supply Chain, and Strategy worked together to map systemwide opportunities that will drive meaningful, lasting impacts on the health of Texans. Special thanks to Jerry A. Mansfield, PhD, MS, RN, NEA-BC, FNAP, Sadie Rau, and Kim Slusser for elevating Nursing Transformation as a key priority.   Together, we are building a more connected, forward-looking health system—one that delivers meaningful, lasting impact on the health of Texans.
