April is Parkinson's Awareness Month and the red tulip is a symbol of Parkinson’s awareness—representing hope, strength, and the ongoing search for a cure. Last fall, Aubie Smith Farms in Ooltewah, TN planted thousands of red tulip bulbs with a vision for something impactful this spring. When those blooms reached their peak recently, guests visiting the farm were invited to take home beautiful bouquets of red tulips—each one carrying a deeper purpose. Thanks to this incredible effort and the generosity of the community, nearly $10,000 was raised to support UT Medical's Cole Center to treat Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
