At Uster Technologies, teamwork is at the heart of everything we do. And nowhere is this more evident than in our After Sales & Service organization. “As the team closest to our customers, Service is often the first point of contact from presales through to the end of a product’s lifecycle,” explains Suresh Kris, Vice President Global After Sales & Service at Uster Technologies. Customers reach out with a wide variety of questions about products, spare parts, applications, maintenance, installations, technical support, and much more. Delivering excellent customer service is mostly never a one-person job. While many technical issues can be solved directly by a service technician on-site, other requests require close collaboration across multiple departments. Technical service, administration, local service management, sales, spare parts teams in Switzerland and the USA, as well as Product Care Teams all work closely together to resolve issues. They communicate with each other through calls, emails, meetings, either remotely or in person. This ensures that information is shared quickly and efficiently so that our customers receive the best possible support. “Customers can feel when a team works well together. Strong teamwork helps us respond faster, solve challenges more effectively, and minimize production downtime for our customers,” says Kris.   The Uster goal is simple: to keep the operations of our customers running smoothly and to ensure they are fully satisfied. A team working well together is the driving force behind every successful customer solution.
