Today marks the 4th Global Sustainability Day at Uster!   An online event brought together colleagues from all Uster locations worldwide to share updates on our sustainability initiatives and showcase activities from our subsidiaries. This year, we welcomed a special keynote speaker: Dr. Fabian Takacs is an internationally acknowledged sustainability expert whose research focuses mainly on the circular economy – a topic that closely aligns with the Environmental Vision 2050 of the Toyota Industries Corporation (of which Uster Technologies has been a member since 2012).   Under TICO’s Seventh Environmental Action Plan, targets for reducing CO₂ emissions and expanding the use of renewable energy have been met – also at our subsidiaries. Protecting our planet for future generations is a shared responsibility. We seek to build a prosperous life in harmony with our planet by promoting environmental conservation.
