Last week, we celebrated U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Barton Land, and his outstanding dedication to our mission and the nation. He successfully integrated multiple complex plans, established highly realistic timelines, and devised a new approach that significantly increased logistical efficiency. His sharp analytical insights served as the bedrock for policy discussions. For his ingenuity and exceptional ability to increase logistical efficiency for the command and the Department of War, he was awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal by our Strategic Plans, Policy, Logistics and Warfighting Development Director, Rear Adm. Chris Stone.
