What happens when young minds are given the space to turn ideas into action? You get solutions like: 🌱 Air purification using cyanobacteria to improve indoor air quality 🤖 AI tools that strengthen communication skills 🧠 Applications that promote critical thinking over passive tech use These winning ideas – along with many others – were brought to life through the Spring idea competition, organized by The Children and Youth Foundation, and supported by UPM’s Share and Care Program, as well as many valuable contributors and sparring partners. They are a powerful reminder that the next generation is not waiting – they are already designing a better future. As Saara Tahvanainen highlighted in her opening speech at the Spring closing event: “We at UPM believe in investing in future generations. Together, we can strengthen young people’s belief that they can make a difference.
