We’re proud to be included in TIME and Statista’s World's Most Sustainable Companies of 2026 list. The ranking evaluates 750 companies against more than 20 sustainability indicators, from emissions transparency to resource efficiency. Our inclusion in the list highlights our success in working toward our sustainability goals. Some notable achievements include: ✅ 89% of our strategic, critical and high-risk supplier spend is now covered by EcoVadis assessments. ✅ 90% of our fibre is now certified. ✅ 58% decrease in fossil CO2 emissions from UPM’s own operations and purchased energy. ✅ 41% of nutrients used in effluent treatment now come from recycled sources. ✅ 35.4% female representation in professional and managerial roles. Recognition like this underscores the value of long-term R&D, responsible forestry, and a commitment to the sustainable transformation of society.
