🌟 "We're welcoming around 2,000 incoming students... helping them find their people, find their friends, find their connection, and help make Carolina home." As the start of the fall semester approaches, Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment is one of the first opportunities for many students to begin building community at the University of South Carolina. In the latest episode of Spur of the Moment: A Podcast for the Curious, we sit down with Carli Mercer, Assistant Dean of Fraternity and Sorority Life, to discuss what students can expect during recruitment, the values that define fraternity and sorority life, and how these organizations help students develop as leaders, serve their communities, and create lasting connections. The conversation also explores the important role philanthropy and service play across all four governing councils, highlighting how students are encouraged to give back while building meaningful relationships throughout their college experience. šŸŽ§ Listen to the full episode: https://lnkd.in/e4AhKECn #UofSC #StudentAffairs #FraternityAndSororityLife #StudentSuccess #CampusCommunity #Leadership #HigherEd
