We are inviting all students, staff, faculty, and the public to The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science 4th annual Women in Engineering Panel Discussion. The panel discussion is being held in honour of International Women’s Day 2026 and in celebration of Engineers and Geoscientists Week, Saskatchewan. The purpose of the event is to build awareness around the impactful role of women in engineering, advocate for equity and the removal of barriers in the field of engineering, and to celebrate women in engineering! This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Give to Gain.” It reminds us that when we invest in others through mentorship, leadership, advocacy, and community, we do not lose anything; we gain stronger teams, better ideas, and a more inclusive profession. The theme for the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science 4th annual Women in Engineering Panel Discussion is “Give to Gain. The power of mentorship in advancing women in engineering.” We hope to see you there. #uofrengineering
