🚀 The first joint bachelor’s degree created within the #OpenEU alliance is here. The #UOC, coordinating university of both the degree and the OpenEU Alliance, is launching the Joint Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development and Testing together with the Open Universiteit and UNED (UNED - Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (Spain). The programme brings together the expertise of three leading open and distance universities to offer a European, digital and multicultural learning experience.  🎓 180 ECTS credits over three academic years 💻 Fully online 🌍 Taught in English 📅 Starting on 23 September 2026 🤝 Courses delivered by teaching staff from all three universities 🧑‍💻 Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire software life cycle, from design and development to testing, maintenance and quality assurance. 💬 Pastora Martínez Samper, coordinator of the OpenEU alliance and commissioner for international action at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, explains that the degree shows how European university alliances can go beyond institutional cooperation and become drivers of academic innovation. 🗣️ Javier Luis Cánovas Izquierdo, academic director of the bachelor’s degree and member of the UOC’s Faculty of Computer Science, Multimedia and Telecommunications; Tanja E.J.
