Members of our HR team, Katie Dowds, Lily Truong, Anastasia Hatzidis, and Matthew Robertson, recently attended The Australian Financial Review Workforce Summit, joining leaders and policymakers to explore the future of work in an AI-enabled world. A key theme emerged throughout the event: AI is not only transforming how we work but also reshaping the skills and capabilities needed for the future. 🚀 While much of the conversation focused on efficiency and automation, there was also a strong emphasis on the opportunities AI creates. As routine tasks evolve, there is increasing value placed on critical thinking, sound judgment, creativity, and collaboration. This shift highlights the importance of creating space for experimentation, reflection, and continuous learning, all essential to unlocking the full potential of AI in the workplace. The summit also reinforced the changing nature of talent. Alongside technical capability, qualities such as curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to embrace new ways of thinking are becoming increasingly important. As AI continues to shape the future of work, the opportunity lies not simply in doing things faster but in creating the space to reimagine what is possible and dream big.💡 #UNSWCollege #UNSW
