UNSW College educators selected for the 2026 English Australia Action Research Program 👏👏 We’re proud to share that Matylda Viste and Navina Dunlop have been selected for the 2026 English Australia Action Research Program. They have secured a place in a highly competitive national initiative for English language educators. Their research project, 'Beyond the Page: Enhancing Reading Comprehension Through AI-Designed Multimedia,' will examine how AI can be used to create more accessible, multimodal learning materials for multilingual learners in university pathway programs. By exploring new ways to support students studying Academic English where students are required to read complex texts on a range of unfamiliar topics, this project aims to improve reading comprehension, reduce cognitive load, and contribute to more inclusive academic literacy instruction. This is a fantastic recognition of Matylda and Navina’s work, and of UNSW College’s commitment to innovation in teaching and learning.
