UOW has ranked among the world's top 200 universities, and 13th in Australia in the QS World University Rankings 2027. 👏 UOW's strongest result was for research impact, ranking 71st in the world and fifth in Australia for citations per faculty member, a measure of how often its research is cited by other scholars. UOW's research is cited at more than four times the global average for this indicator, reflecting the reach and quality of our researchers’ work across a broad range of disciplines. "Our place in the world's top 200, and our standing as one of the most cited universities for the size of our staff, is a great credit to our researchers and the real-world impact of their work," UOW Vice-Chancellor and President Professor G.Q. Max Lu said.
