For the first time ever, the goblin shark has been filmed alive in its natural deep ocean habitat. Researchers from the Minderoo Foundation-UWA Deep-Sea Research Centre and the University of Hawaii at Manoa documented two live sightings in the Central Pacific, near Jarvis Island and the Tonga Trench.
