One of the first visible signs that the FIFA World Cup was coming to Seattle appeared last summer just east of Husky Stadium, where crews transformed the University of Washington’s well-worn soccer field into a world-class training facility thanks to a $3.8 million renovation. The upgrade has allowed international teams to use the field for practice ahead of matches in Seattle, and future Huskies will benefit for years to come. ⚽ https://lnkd.in/eQQYpeQt
