Addressing food insecurity on campus starts with helping things grow. 🥦🍅🥕 Since 2009, The Giving Garden has been a place where community takes root: https://lnkd.in/gXnnYhRW On Tuesday, that tradition continued with 17 new garden beds, a bonfire and a group of Tacoma Huskies who believe that fresh food should be accessible to every student on campus. 💜 The Giving Garden connects our community to their food system through hands-on urban agriculture, delivering peak seasonal produce directly to hungry students in partnership with The Pantry, the on-site food bank at UW Tacoma.
