That is why the University of Twente has signed a cooperation agreement with Thailandโ€™s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation to strengthen collaboration in semiconductor education, research and workforce development. Thailand aims to train more than 80,000 semiconductor professionals by 2030. For UT, this partnership creates valuable opportunities for research collaboration, MSc and PhD talent development, and a stronger connection with Southeast Asia. The collaboration builds on UTโ€™s expertise in areas such as photonics, biosensors and advanced electronics, while supporting Thailandโ€™s ambitions to grow its semiconductor talent base and innovation capacity. Together with our Thai partners, we will now work towards concrete initiatives in student mobility, scholarships and joint research. ย  Mahanakorn University of Technology - Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand - Yodchanan Wongsawat - Machteld Roos #utwente
