Β This yearβs opening forms part of UTβs 65th anniversary celebrations, centred on the theme Courage. For 65 years, the UT has been shaped by people who dare to take initiative, recognise new opportunities and turn ideas into action. Β As both a UT alumna in Industrial Engineering and Management and a government minister, Herbert is uniquely positioned to reflect on the connection between science, innovation and societal development. Β Prior to the ceremony, she will visit Kennispark Twente to meet entrepreneurs and regional leaders from the Twente high-tech ecosystem, with discussions focusing on the regionβs economic ambitions, future growth opportunities and Twenteβs contribution to national innovation and economic development goals. Heleen, itβs a pleasure to have you back in Twente for this special occasion. Heleen Herbert | Minister van Economische Zaken en Klimaat #utwente
