In a few days, De Batavierenrace will take place. And this year, an especially peculiar group of runners will appear at the start: the Biomechanical Engineering group of UT, wearing exoskeletons. Their goal is to show the rapid development of wearable robotics and the way they can change movement. For instance, by keeping people with mobility issues active. Although commercial exoskeletons are still in their relative infancy, the group aims to demonstrate what's already possible during the Batavierenrace.
