The Net Zero Futures series brings together leaders from research, industry and government to discover how nature-positive solutions can help with climate outcomes. Yesterday, UTS hosted the first event in the series, Nature as Climate Infrastructure where experts discuss the important role nature plays in creating a more resilient, sustainable cities. One of the panellists, Professor Jua Cilliers (UTS Faculty of Design and Society) highlighted the need to design cities with nature in mind and ensure this is embedded in planning and policy.
