More than 50 University of Tasmania students recently took on real-world energy challenges at the inaugural Hackathon delivered by TasNetworks in partnership with the University of Tasmania and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Over three days, students collaborated in teams to develop innovative technology solutions to challenges facing Tasmania's energy sector, with the winning team securing paid internship opportunities at TasNetworks. A huge thank you to all the students, TasNetworks employees, University of Tasmania staff and AWS representatives who contributed their time, expertise and enthusiasm to make this event such a success.
