Congratulations to Vanessa Bleyer, who has been announced as the next Senator for Tasmania, filling a casual vacancy caused by the retirement of Senator Peter Whish-Wilson. “Pathways to Politics reminded me how important it is to respectfully engage with fellow elected representatives despite diametric differences in opinion,” Ms Bleyer says. “Developing productive relationships with all political colleagues can assist in achieving results for protecting our natural environment and improving people's lives.” Pathways to Politics for Women now has 95 electoral successes nationally.
