A cohort of 29 registered nurses has commenced the University of Tasmania’s Graduate Diploma of Midwifery, delivered in partnership with the Department of Health, Tasmania. The program combines paid employment in maternity services, clinical practice and intensive training in Launceston, enabling nurses to develop the specialist skills needed to support women and families across the state.
