Happy Birthday Salford from our University community 🎈💯 Founded in 1896 as The Royal Technical Institute, the University has grown alongside Salford City Council well over a century. Our story is proudly intertwined with the city’s - rooted in its people, inspired by ambition and driven by a shared belief in progress. Today we remain just as committed to pushing boundaries, creating opportunity, and keeping Salford firmly on the map.
